GREAT news for Google Classroom users! Now teachers can use their own images as the theme for their class inside of Google Classroom. In addition, Google has added 18 new images and 30 new pattern themes to their collection to choose from.
Another new, neat little feature is that Google Classroom will now try to select a theme that matches the class subject based on the title of the class. It works really well for common topics but might not work so well for a class with a very complex name.
Google is also making updates to their Classroom mobile apps. This is especially great news since the apps were a bit limiting.
There’s also a bunch of other small updates. What’s awesome is that Google for Edu continues to update this app to make it as useful to classroom teachers as they can.
Sadly, it does not yet look like Google has added the ability to add a co-teacher. Next update we hope?
